Transformed Into Natalie
Pulling up at the side of the road, Yasmin looks out at the countless students walking towards the school.
“What exactly are we looking for here?” she asks, turning the ignition off.
“We need a male specimen,” the Doctor responds, whilst winding his window down. “If the committee isn't going to give me what I need to test my serum, then we must take matters into our own hands.”
Slowly taking off her sunglasses, Yasmin turns to face the Doctor in the back of the car.
“Aren’t you worried we will get caught kidnapping?” she asks with concern.
“Do you believe my serum works Yasmin…?” the Doctor replies with a click of his fingers.
“Yes Doctor,” she quickly replies.
“Wouldn’t you then say that the boy who is kidnapped won’t be recognizable once we’ve finished?” the Doctor continues with a sinister grin. “Stop worrying about it and go fetch me my specimen!”
Sliding her sunglasses back onto her face, Yasmin gives him a nod and quickly gets out of the car.
Zipping up her leather jacket, Yasmin steps onto the curb and surveys the area.
Kidnapping a male wasn’t going to be easy. She knew she’d have to keep it out of sight.
Walking around to the back of the car, she opens the trunk and leaves it wide open.
Spending the next few minutes watching and waiting, Yasmin quickly identifies a target. Reaching inside her purse, she pulls out a needle and conceals it in her sleeve.
A young average looking male, five-foot-seven in height and more importantly to her, alone!
“Young man,” She calls out, waving her hand at him to get his attention. “I say…. young man!”
As her high heels click loudly against the pavement with her quick steps, she stops him just in front of a darkened alleyway.
“Can I help ma’am?” the young boy asks with confusion.
Acting terrified, Yasmin points down the darkened alleyway.
“My sister!” she screams and pretends to panic. “She’s being attacked down there. Please help her!”
“She is!?” he says, puffing out his chest and throwing his bag down.
Forcing herself to cry, Yasmin slowly nods. “Please help!”
The boy rushes into the Alleyway, roaring a battle cry. Yasmin swiftly follows behind him.
As the daylight fades for them both, obscured by the large buildings, the boy quickly realizes it’s an empty alleyway.
Slowly coming to a jog, then a walk, he turns back with a confused expression.
Just as he goes to ask her what's going on, Yasmin swoops into action.
Like a flash of lightning, Yasmin soon has the needle deep into the boy's neck. As she forced the contents into his body, the boy violently pushes her away.
“What the fuck!” he yells with fury. “What did you……..,”
Unable to finish his sentence, the boy falls to the floor in a heap. His body is limp and completely lifeless.
“Sorry kiddo,” Yasmin comments, reaching for her phone. “It’s nothing personal.”
Dialing a number, she stands over the boy.
“It's done,” she says to the Doctor. “Reverse the car down that darkened alleyway and I will load him into the back.”
“Good work Yasmin,” the Doctor replies. “Proving yourself useful……at last.”
Having loaded the boy into the trunk, Yasmin gets into the passage side. Giving the Doctor a nod, they swiftly drive off.
After a few minutes of driving, Yasmin takes off her sunglasses and sighs.
“What is it?” the Doctor groans in reaction.
Stressfully rubbing her face, Yasmin turns to look at him.
“I don’t understand this,” she says, rubbing her face again. “We’ve developed a serum that means we can change people's perceptions. Why are going to swap this boy's gender?”
Still concentrating on the road, the Doctor chuckles.
“Think about it!” the Doctor says, with a sinister grin. “If we can get this boy to believe he’s always been a girl. The committee will have to stand up and listen to us!”
Slouching in her seat, Yasmin sighs again.
“Just seems like we couldn’t just use the serum on the committee,” Yasmin points out.
Turning and giving her a stern look, the Doctor shakes his head.
“I supposed you’ve got access to the chemicals I need then,” he lectures. “Don’t be so dense girl. Use that brain of yours for once!”
“Sorry Doctor” Yasmin huffs, hanging her head in shame.
“You can make up for it by getting my theatre ready as soon as we get back,” he commands, turning the car down another street. “I want to perform the transgender procedure while he’s out. That way the serum can start taking effect straight away!”
“Yes Doctor,” Yasmin says nodding.
That Evening, after the operation, Yasmin and the Doctor stand over the bed looking down at the person they’d kidnapped.
“Doctor,” Yasmin says to inform him. “Looks like our patient is waking up.”
“Good,” the Doctor comments, taking off his blood-stained gloves.
“W-where….a-am I,” the boy groans in confusion.
Shinning a light into his eyes to check his pupils, the Doctor looks down at him and smiles.
“Do you remember your name?” the Doctor then asks
“It’s Jasper……,” the boy answers, trying to move his body.
“Please don’t try and move,” the Doctor quickly insists. “Your body had gone through some changes and you should relax for now.”
Pleased that the boy was reacting normally, the Doctor takes a few notes and pictures of the boy.
“What girl's names do you like Yasmin?” the Doctor asks, still jotting notes on his clipboard.
“Errm,” Yasmin wonders as she checks the boy's temperature and heart rate. “I always like the name, Natalie.”
“Brrriliant!” the Doctor gleefully replies. “Patient Natalie it is!”
Confused and very scared, the young boy writhes around in the bed.
“Tell me what's going on!” he whines. “Why can’t I feel my legs!”
Standing over him, the Doctor gives him a wide smile.
“Now now Natalie,” he says, pressing down gently on the boy's shoulders to stop him moving. “I’ve performed gender reassignment surgery on you, so I wouldn’t try to move too much.”
“Yes dear,” Yasmin says agreeing. “Just relax for now. We will be back to check on you later and give you more pain relief.”
“YOU DID WHAT!” the boy shouts, trying his best to break free. “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU BOTH!”
Tutting at his attitude, the Doctor walks away and shakes his head.
Still trying to break free of the restraints, the bed creeks with the boy's movements.
“You can’t do this to me!” the boy whines and whimpers! “Stop joking and let me go!”
Leaning over and stroking the boy's hair, Yasmin gives him a reassuring smile.
“Listen to me Natalie,” Yasmin whispers so the doctor can’t hear. “Play nice or the doctor won’t allow me to give you the pain relief. He will make you suffer if you don’t play along.”
“Don’t do this to me,” the boy plea’s through his tears. “Please help me!”
“Yasmin!” the doctor snaps, causing Yasmin to scurry over to him. “Start logging all the details. I want everything he says and does recorded.”
Nodding, Yasmin dashes over to a nearby computer and logs in.
“See you soon patient Natalie,” the Doctor says smugly as he leaves the room. “Be good a good girl now.”
Day 2
Logging onto the computer in the room, Yasmin says nothing to Natalie.
Reaching for her Dictaphone, Yasmin presses record on all her instruments.
“Day 2,” Yasmin says into the recorder. “The patient is showing good vitals and is currently conscious.”
Moving over to Natalie's bed, Yasmin gently lifts the sheets up and exposes his lower body.
“GR surgery appears to have taken well. No bleeding or excessive bruising around the area.” Yasmin continues.
Natalie tries their best to kick Yasmin but is unable to due to the restraints.
Jumping back, Natalie tuts.
“Natalie’s reactions still appear to be aggressive. This is to be expected with only one dose of the serum.”
Writhing in the bed, Natalie whines and groans.
“Let me out of here!” Natalie cries. “Please, I just want to go home!”
Lowering the sheets to cover Natalie’s legs, Yasmin moves to the top of the bed and looks down into Natalie’s eyes.
“What is your name?” Yasmin asks, pointing the recorder down.
“It’s Jasper!” Natalie groans and spits.
“Progress is slow, but the psychical healing is taking well.” Yasmin comments, moving away from the bed. “
Clicking the recorder off, Yasmin turns back to the bed and leans over Natalie’s face. Giving a wide smile, she gently strokes his cheeks.
“Listen,” Yasmin whispers. “You want to get out of here?”
Natalie’s eyes grow wide and they nod franticly.
“You must stop thinking of yourself as a boy,” Yasmin commands, but still whispers. “You don’t have those parts anymore. If you want any life after this, please try and accept you’re new name!”
“I can’t!” Natalie replies, with their eyes welling up. “Please just let me go!”
Day 15
Stepping into the room, Yasmin smiles at Natalie.
“Morning Natalie,” Yasmin chirps, making her way swiftly to the desk. “How are you feeling this morning?”
“Ok,” Natalie replies, looking out of the window. “I think I’m ready to get out of the bed now.”
“Slow down,” Yasmin moans, swiftly turning on her recording equipment. “Day fifteen. Natalie is sitting up in the bed and is responding to her name without being prompted.”
Walking over to the bed, Yasmin lifts the sheets and looks under them at Natalie’s body.
“Don’t call me a ‘her’,” Natalie whines and folds her arms. “…….How am I looking down there?”
Covering Natalie up, Yasmin notes down some information.
“Good,” she comments, “How does it feel?”
“Empty,” Natalie replies with disdain. “Can you take the restrains of me now. I’ve been a good girl this week and you promised!”
“You have,” Natalie says, clapping gently.
Hastily turning away, Natalie scurries out of the room and shuts the door behind her.
“How is the patient?” the Doctor asks, standing just outside the door.
Looking down at the clipboard in her hand, Yasmin gently shakes her head.
“Vitals are all positive,” she comments. “although, I’m concerned we are seeing Stockholm syndrome and not the effects of the serum.”
“Explain!” the doctor demands!”
“I think she’s feeling trapped and we are her captors. Yasmin explains, tucking hair behind her ear. “I think for the results to be compelling, we need to let her out of that room. We need to show her she’s not a prisoner, but our guest. If we don’t, she will continue to present with Stockholm and we won’t get the data we need!”
“Indeed,” the doctor replies, pushing his glasses back. “Ok then, make the preparations. Proof the room and get the female items we need to make her comfortable.”
“Yes, Doctor!” Yasmin answers, giving him a nod. “Shall I also increase her doses of estrogen?”
“Yes, but don’t log the change.” He answers while walking away
Day 30
Feeling very exposed in just her surgery gown, Natalie sits in the wheelchair waiting to see her new room.
Having been locked in that other sterile room for a month, Natalie found herself almost giddy at the prospect of something new.
“Here we are,” Yasmin says, pushing open the door and wheeling Natalie in. “I’ve tried to make the room as comfortable as possible.”
“It’s nice,” Natalie comments, as Yasmin wheels her into the middle of the room. “I like the color.”
“Great!” Yasmin says smiling and helping Natalie up. “It’s a nice shade of pink, don’t you think.”
Helping Natalie onto her feet, she takes a few awkward steps.
Secretly clicking on her recording device, Yasmin watches Natalie awkwardly look around the room.
“How are you feeling Natalie?” she asks, hiding the recorder from view.
“I’m….happy,” Natalie answers, slowly moving over to the en-suite bathroom. “I have been feeling very itchy around my nipples. Is that a normal side effect from the medicine I have to take?”
“I will ask the Doctor,” Yasmin replies.
Looking into the bathroom, Natalie’s face goes green.
“Just a bathtub?” she asks in terror.
“Is that not ok?” Yasmin enquires. “Do you not like a bath?”
Gently shaking her head, Natalie shuts the door to the bathroom.
“I’m scared,” she admits, looking into Yasmin's eyes. “I’m scared of seeing my body naked. I know I’m a girl now, but I’ve never seen my new parts. I’m worried I won’t like it and I will have another freakout.”
Placing her hand gently onto Natalie’s fragile shoulder, Yasmin smiles.
“I’ve gotta go make my report now,” She explains. “Make yourself comfortable and I will be back later and we will go through your clothing options. Is that ok!”
“Sure,” Natalie says smiling. “Don’t leave it too long though, I get worried when you’re not around.”
